It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 3rd International Higher Education Conference 2024. I extend my deep gratitude to all of you, including our vice chancellors, deans, distinguished scientists, and policymakers who have traveled from near and far to join this vital conversation.

The theme 'Elevating Sustainable Excellence in Higher Education' reflects our shared commitment to advancing academic and research excellence, grounded in the Sustainable Development Goals. This conference unites leaders and researchers to explore new approaches that enhance our institutions while contributing meaningfully to the global community. Sustainable excellence is not only about individual success but about our collective responsibility to build a future where education serves as a force for good.

Malaysia, alongside global universities, is making strides in sustainability research and innovation. While we have made progress in integrating SDG-focused programs, more can be achieved through global partnerships that keep universities at the forefront of innovation and social impact.
